A short Note

Concerning Invocations:

When calling a spirit to your circle, consider and know its nature. Know to which of the Planets it agreeth with, And what Offices are distributed to him. In the circle itself are to be written The Divine names, and those things which do yeild defense to us. The names which do rule the said planet, The name of the spirits which bear Rule. fortify your circle by adding characters and Pentacles agreeing to the work. Within or without we may frame an angular figure inscribed with such numbers as are congruent among themselves to our work. More over you should provide scents, unguents, and Herbs according to the nature of the Planet and Spirit.

If and when the Spirit Appears, The invocant shall turn towards him, Receive him courteously and earnestly entreating him, Let him Require his name, Let him ask what he will. If the The spirit shows himself Obstinate or Lying let him be bound by convenient conjurations. When you are content and have fulfilled your Goal, Permit him to depart with courteous words giving command unto him Not to do Harm. If he will not depart compell him by powerful conjurations and if need be by exorcism. When he has parted go Not out of the Circle, But stay. Speaking the Necessary chants for your defense.

If your hope are Fraustrated, and no Spirit shows, For this do not despair, Try again some other time, go over your Ritual and make sure you are performing such work @ the Right Moment and time, Keeping in mind, Not Always will they make their Presence known.

Please Keep in mind This is a Very serious step and should not be taken lightly, or attemped by anyone who Does not know What they are getting into. Invocations to use a spirit or Being of any kind to do your Biding Can and will Backfire.

Do not attemp this typ of work unless totaly necessary, A Last Resort.
